Project Description
My name is Jessica Hermann and I am an independent contractor and a Teachstone certified CLASS Pre-K observer. In this capacity, I joined Progressive Early Assessment (PEA) in 2015. A former Louisiana native, I attended Louisiana State University where I majored in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology. Following LSU, I became an American Airlines flight attendant while also routinely working as a part-time teacher on non-travel days. My family and I have lived in a variety of locations throughout the United States, and I’ve worked as an instructor for the National Arthritis Foundation Program at a local YMCA near Omaha, NE. In 2003, my family relocated to Coronado, CA, and I was employed at Sacred Heart Elementary School. For the next eight years, I developed and continued to build upon a comprehensive physical education curriculum, and managed the daily physical development of nearly 250 students ranging in age from kindergarten to 8th grade. Despite my numerous professional accomplishments, I am most proud of being part of a military family and mother. I am the wife of a career naval officer and the mother of two boys, I continue to remain active in my community by volunteering as a class parent representative at Coronado High School and sports booster organization chairperson. I also serve as manager of a nationally-ranked team at San Diego’s Albion Soccer Club.
