Meet Our Team

Susan McGrawDirector
Susan McGraw has been working in the early childhood education field for over 25 years. She managed several early childhood preschools throughout San Diego County, has taught child development classes as an adjunct professor at Pacific Oaks College and Southwestern Community College, and has 11 years of experience conducting assessments in San Diego and throughout California. Susan is highly experienced in Early Childhood Management, working for organizations such as the YMCA and the San Diego County Office of Education. Knowing the need for highly experienced assessors, Susan founded Progressive Early Assessments in 2014. She brought together a diverse team of highly skilled consultants that have helped California raise the quality of instruction in their early childhood programs. Susan is also a trainer and actively calibrates assessors throughout the year.

Susan McGraw is also:

  • Certified by ERSI on all 3 ERS tools at an Anchor Level of 90% since 2011
  • The lead evaluator for San Diego County Office of Education—training and calibrating over 35 of its early education professional development staff.
  • The lead ERS trainer providing assistance throughout the state of California and an ongoing trainer at First Five in ERS.
